It's pvd plated so the gold colour should last a few years at least. Take in mind these slightly thicker than regular earrings.

I find it hard where I live to get good quality gold sleepers. Plus these are reasonably priced. I find for everyday wear and less irrigation the Sleeper Earring design is best for this.
